RunClique, the community running initiative known as “Your Free Therapy,” has wrapped up its Mental Health Awareness Month with a heartfelt community outreach dubbed the Love in Action Campaign, bringing hope, donations, and human connection to orphanages across Warri and Sapele.
Throughout June, RunClique members and hubs including the Sapele hub alongside all Warri hubs — came together in a show of solidarity, visiting four orphanages in the two communities to spread love, share time, and offer support to children in need.
A Community That Gives Back
The campaign wasn’t just about raising funds it was about presence. Members volunteered their time to create memorable experiences for the children, while donors contributed both cash and gift items to support the cause.
By the end of the campaign, RunClique had raised a total of ₦292,700 (excluding gift items), with proceeds shared across the four beneficiary orphanages in Warri and Sapele.
“Your generosity has made a real difference, and we’re truly grateful,” organizers said in a statement thanking participants, donors, and the wider RunClique family.
More Than a Run Club
RunClique has built a reputation as more than just a running community it’s a support system. This year’s Mental Health Awareness Month activities reinforced that identity, combining physical activity with acts of compassion to remind members and communities alike that healing often comes through connection.
What’s Next
RunClique will observe an off day next Saturday before returning to activities in August. Members and supporters are encouraged to stay connected as the group continues its mission of wellness, community, and outreach in the months ahead.
